The city is situated in the southern borders of Palm Beach County, Florida. The area is around 9 miles north of Boca Raton, 30 miles north of Fort Lauderdale, and 60 miles north of Miami.
According to the 2020 evaluation, the city population has grown to 68,107 residents already. The place is recognized as part of the Miami metropolitan area.
The city has 2 miles of public seashore called the Delray Municipal Beach which is viewed as one of the Southeastern United States' best coastlines.
Its downtown zone is fondly called ‘The Avenue’. The area is famous for shopping, eating, and nightlife. Also called the city’s Atlantic Avenue, it is the longest main road in Florida that runs through the central part of the place from I-95 to the beaches in the area.

Furthermore, at the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens, the decade-old museum highlights six verdant gardens beautifully crafted by the Japanese immigrants decades ago.
