It is a village in Broward County, Florida, in the United States. It has only 25 residents as of July 1st, 2020 census. The village has no police department, neither a fire department.

Based on the data of the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total surface area of 0.023 sq. miles, all land, and Lazy Lane is the main street and the only road in the village.

Lazy Lake is also called “the tiniest and mightiest town in Broward”. There are no organizations and businesses, traffic signals, or municipal centers in the area.

In 1985, the villagers agreed to set the entire village up for sale at $15 million, but nobody acquired it. It was on the market for 2 years, and Sue Carolyn Wise was their real-estate broker. She went on television news stations and shows like CNN and A Current Affair to help promote the sale.

Different personalities such as OJ Simpson and a Kuwaiti Prince were interested but unfortunately, nobody bought the area. So after 2 years of trying to be sold, it came off the market, and the villagers decided not to have a broker's contract renewed.

The explanation in this little development fizzled was on the grounds that most inhabitants on the south aspect of the town needed to stay a town. Eventually, it was expected generally to some extent and in light of the fact that the civic chairman and most gathering individuals around then lived on the south side. 

Today, 16 family units make up the aggregate of the village of Lazy Lake. It is as yet its own joined district, encircled by the city of Wilton Manors who offers types of assistance and foothold.

However, while the town might be little, its past is large and vivid, formed by enthusiastic inhabitants who consistently stood prepared to battle for their freedom.
