It is a city in Miami-Dade County, Florida, USA. The city is located between Tamiami Trail and Coral Way encompassing only three-quarters of a square mile. The small city is located six miles west of Miami and six miles north of Kendall. As of the 2020 census, this city has a population of 8,089.
In the mid-1900s, the territory was an unincorporated piece of the county. In 1947, the area restricted betting and decreased the number of mixed drinking hours. The former city experienced huge development and advancement during the 1990s.
